Elise Borelli
snowboard am
Hey everyone! My Name is Elise Borelli. You can find me riding Park City Mountain Resort most of the winter. Roxy is the best and has supported me for the last 3 seasons! My Ollie Pop has taken my riding to new levels!
I turned 18 in August and am living in Park City Utah, fully focusing on my snowboarding career. Last season was a great experience to travel around the AM circuit and have some positive results.
My summer was good also. I spent a month at Hood in July and made my 1st international Snowboard trip to compete in the New Zealand Open.
This season I hope to do better in bigger competitions. I just want to focus on pushing myself to go bigger and spin harder!
Snowboarding is the biggest part of my life. The positive energy that I get from a good day of riding with friends or just stomping a new trick when I'm all by myself is really indescribable. I have met a lot of really cool, interesting riders and skiers in the last couple years.
I feel the journey for me has just begun and can?t wait for what the future holds! Thanks Roxy!

Marie Andree
snowboard am
Marie started snowboarding at age 12 when she was in the 7th grade. She started out with encouragement from her school friends. She spent her early years riding at Mont-Lac Vert, a little hill with lots of friendly people. At age 16, she was in a snowboard school at Cure-Hebert. She got to snowboard in the afternoon, travel, attend snowboard camps and be placed with some of the best coaches in the region. Upon graduation, she headed west to chase the dream of a big mountain in Whistler, BC. 2009 has been her best season so far, she has been placing in competitions, riding every day, traveling and meeting lots of great friends.

Shanny Cohen
Ski am
Shanny Cohen. I born in Ketchum ( Sun Valley), ID. I have been skiing since I was 2 years old. My dad used to send me down my driveway to learn to ski. By age 5, I had started ski racing. I worked with the US Ski Team National Development System and was looking at making the US Alpine Team. The pressure to make the team finally deterred me from my dream. I began trying to sneak my twin tips and powder skis to all the races. At age 17, I moved to Colorado to begin my Freeride Career.
Roxy put blind faith in me and put me on their team my first year. I couldn't be more excited to represent an all women's company. I spent a year training with Aspen Valley Ski Team. My first competiton in freeride was the US Freeskiing Open Slopestyle Event. After only 1 month in this new sport, I had no clue what I had entered myself in. This was the biggest event of the year! I won the first run of semi-finals and got 8th in finals. The past two years I have lived in Park City, UT and now ski for The Canyons Resort. Since my first competition I have spent as many days I can in the park, competing, skiing powder and doing photoshoots.
I love slopestyle because all the tricks I learn in the park I can take to back country jumps. I want to incorporate my back country skiing and park skiing together and hopefully start filming with someone this season. The boys I grew up with pushed me to do this and I'm so greatful for them. They never let me back down from a trick when I got scared! I try and learn a new trick everyday. I love the freedom of this sport and self expression.
I spend everyday in the gym. Currently I am getting certified for personal training. I also ride dirtbikes and water ramp at the UOP in the summertime.

Jessi Huege
snowboard am
Hi, I'm Jessi Huege, I am currently 15 years old and I?m from West Dundee, IL. I have been riding for most of my life and it has taught me many things. I've learned to push myself when I think I can?t do something and to have as much fun as I can with everything I do. Snowboarding is all about having fun and that is all I?m trying to do with it. I think it?s awesome to be part of Roxy since it is an all girls team and we?re pushing the sport of snowboarding right now! More girls are starting to ride and are trying to advance further in the sport and I think it?s so sick. My biggest influences for riding have to be my brother Johnny Huege, my coach Travis Moore, and all girls trying to have fun and just shreddin. My brother was actually the one that got me into snowboarding so I guess I have always just looked up to him for that. Travis coached me last season and hopefully I get to train with him this season!
This past season I got first place in superpipe at the Aspen Open in Aspen, CO. I also took first places at the Mt. Hood and Sugarloaf Mtn. USSA Revolution Tours and ended up being the Tour winner for superpipe. In March I broke my foot doing a 9 in the pipe at the Roxy Chicken Jam so I couldn?t compete in any more contests for the 08-09 season. It was a huge bummer but I?m pumped to ride again.

Megan Whiteside
snowboard am
I was raised in Boulder, Co, right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, so I've grown up skiing and snowboarding my whole life. I also grew up doing gymnastics, which gave me skills and coordination that have helped me immensely with my snowboarding. I rode on and off for a few years, but when I started competing my senior year of high school is when I really fell in love with the sport. Snowboarding has opened up the most wonderful world to me, given me the opportunity to do things I love like traveling and spending time with great people.
Since most of my friends I grew up riding with were guys, they pushed me to learn and ride on bigger jumps, and that is how I came to love big air contests. WSI Big Air was the first big air contest I competed in. After I won that I kept progressing from there.
When I'm waiting for winter to come I have a lot of things to keep me busy. I go to school at the University of Colorado in Boulder, and am majoring in international affaires. I also spend a lot of time modeling, which is a great way for me to take advantage of being so tall! It gives me the opportunity to experience something completely different from snowboarding, but I love being able to have it as a part of my life.
I'm really excited to be a part of the Roxy team, and am looking forward to the upcoming season with the company and support of so many great ladies!

Vanessa Colletta
Ski am
At just 17 years old, Vanessa Coletta is one skier to watch. She loves living her life and surrounding herself with good, honest people. It was in her hometown Les Menuires in the breath taking French Alps where she discovered her untapped talent for alpine skiing just two years ago. Prior to downhill skiing she spent her free time on cross-country skiis and dancing.
Vanessa is self-motivated to work hard at improving her tricks and skills. She loves slopestyle and big air events and is hoping to perfect the Cork 540 and the 900 for a great result at the Freestyle Open next year. Other goals for this rising star would be getting a strong switch take off, style grabs, 207 on rails and riding the half-pipe. She rides the Wista Pro Roxy skis and loves the way they give her a solid ride. With her determination and focus these ambitions aren't too far from her reach.
