Launched in 2004, the Roxy Chicken Jams are the first and most prestigious stand-alone all-girls pro snowboarding events in the world. By bringing together the best riders, the best resorts and some of the biggest prize purses in women's professional snowboarding, Roxy fosters greater exposure and a higher level of competition for the sport and its riders.

Each snowboard season features two Jams: one in North America at Mammoth Mountain, and a European event held this year in Saalbach Hinterklemm, Austria. The Roxy Chicken Jam in Austria runs January 8-10, 2010, and will feature a 6-star Slopestyle competition as part of the Swatch TTR Women's World Tour, and a concert.

The Roxy Pro Gold Coast in Australia is the season opener of the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) Women's World Tour. The event takes place during February/March in Queensland's Gold Coast, where the contest is staged at famed surf break Snapper Rocks. The festival atmosphere of the Roxy Jam Biarritz brings spectators and surfers together to enjoy the lifestyle and creativity of longboarding through art, music and amateur events, in addition to the ASP pro longboard competition, which crowns the ASP Women's World Longboard Champion.
