I got it for snowboarding but our last couple winters have been terrible so I haven't been able to wear it a whole lot. I used the jacket for casual wear and I'm always getting compliments I love if! It keeps me warm and snug and it is long enough!! This is by far my favorite jacket

This is a great shell. Comfortable with cool, classic styling that will see you through more than one season. For women with curves, I'd recommended ordering a size up from what you might in other brands in if you don't want it fitting tight on the hips and butt. I sometimes wear a M or L in a jacket, but in this case I went for the XL (40-41") so that it wouldn't be plastered to my thighs (especially with snow pants). While it's a bit bulky/long in the sleeve, it's managable. Rather have steeze than be shrink wrapped, I say!

Amazing! It is a shell for those who don't know, but if you layer right its perfect for any weather. for cold days just wear a long underwear top (maybe two if you want), fleece or flannel and a sweater and you will be good to go! I'm obsessed with it! It also looks super hot!

I live in Whistler and this jacket is perfect for Whis style. It's super long, but still slim, so I finally don't have to rock a men's XL to get that steeze. As the other reviewer mentioned, yes, it's a shell. Obviously. Websites are not going to put a disclaimer on every shell product that says, "WARNING! THIS IS NOT INSULATED!"

OBVIOUSLY, if insulation is not referenced in the tech description, then it is a shell, and unless you are using it for strictly spring shredding, logic WOULD suggest that you will need a good midlayer.

Just sayin.

I bought this jacket because I needed a jacket for snowboarding, and it was classy looking enough that I wouldn't have to buy a whole second coat for going out for special occasions. What the site's description leaves out is that this is more of a SHELL jacket with all the boarding coat features...minus the warmth. I went out and bought my own fleecy liner and sewed it in with snaps. This jacket is a good buy if you don't want to buy two coats, one for weather and one for dressy occasions, but you'l have to layer it on big time when you hit the hill..and pretty much every other canadian winter day. I still love the coat, but the makers didn't have to remove the insulation just so they could call it slim fit. I would recomend this to a friend who wants a two in one coat, who doesn't mind buying an extra fleecy, only considering how hard it is to find a classy boarding coat. Roxy, please come up with some warm boarding jackets that look like pea coats.
