SKI CHOOSER ADULT AND YOUTH
The best way to choose a ski is to determine how fast you go, and where you like to ski on the mountain. Just
answer these questions and you'll be on your way to the slopes with the perfect ski!
How fast do you like to ski:Which statement is most true for you?
A. I rip. Nothing wrong with a little speed! (BLACK DIAMONDS)
B. I go fast once in a while, but I'm always in control. (BLUE SQUARES)
C. I take it pretty easy. (GREEN CIRCLES)
Next, the type of terrain you like to ski helps narrow it down.Which statement is most true for you?
D. I ski anywhere on the mountain but especially like freshies.
E. I like to go everywhere, but I tend to be on trail more than off.
F. I stick to the green circles.
G. Anywhere there are jumps. I love the park.
See below for the letter combination that defines your ski.
AD. You are a Helter Skelter!
The Helter Skelter is great for bombing in any condition. It excels when exploring uncharted terrain, and is perfect
if you want a ski that can handle crud or rip a groomer equally well.
AE. You are a Broomstix.
The Broomstix is a great ski for the one ski quiver. You like to make every kind of turn shape depending on the trail
you're on and your mood. If it snows a lot you will be happy with the 86 mm underfoot that will keep you afloat, and if
it's icy, this ski will keep you happy ripping groomers all day.
AF. You sound dangerous!
You may have had your pass pulled by the patrol!
AG. You are an Alakazam!
The Alakazam is a fantastic ski for rippers who love the park! It is built for getting great pop, but also has enough substance
for a girl who likes to go fast.
BD. You are Bliss.
The Bliss turns on a dime, and is wide enough to handle snow anywhere on the Mountain. If you really like to open them
wide up, the Joyrider might be a better choice, but if you are happy at medium speeds and like to stay fully in control
the Bliss is the perfect fit.
BE. You are Bliss!
This is a match made in Heaven. The Bliss loves to make turns on fresh corduroy, and heaven forbid, blue ice. NO SLIPPING!
The wide tip and tail makes the ski able to handle any depth of snow well, and the exaggerated side cut gives you an amazing
sensation throughout the turn.
BF. You would like the Bliss or the Swell, depending on how much you plan to ski.
If you are just starting out and think you will really ski a lot, you want a ski you can progress with. Try the Bliss. If you
want a ski that will make it very easy to learn, and will keep you nice and safe choose the Swell.
BG. You are an Alakazam!
And probably one of the coolest girls on the mountain. The Alakazam is perfect for you because it is a nice, light twin tip. It
also has a very strong edge hold to make sure you stay in control when you are on the slopes. Knock 'em dead girl!
CD. Wow you're daring!!
And scary! Have you considered snowshoeing...
CE. You're Swell!
It goes without saying you just want it to be easy and fun when you head out on greens and blues. If you're an athlete
and know you'll be at the mountain a lot and you dream of ripping, step up to the Bliss and just go for it. If you are going
to be a more casual skier for a while, the Swell will hit the spot.
CF. You're a Juicy!
The Juicy is a terrific ski for beginners. It's easy to turn, and keeps you in control the whole way down. It is super super
lightweight as well, so you will can stay out learning all day without getting worn out.
CG. You are a Hocus Pocus!
Your friends are in the park and you can already see yourself there with them. It is very light, so fun to turn and jump with,
and it makes learning a trick for the first time much easier. The Hocus Pocus is very versatile too, and when you want to take
a run on the slopes, it will help you stay in control with super edge grip on any ice you find. The Hocus Pocus will
progress with you for a long time, so even when you start throwing 360 grabs out of the pipe, it will still work great.
JR GIRLS
AG or BG - You're an Abracadabra!
Youre the up and coming ripper, all over the mountain at all kinds of speeds. You just wish your parents could keep up
with you and your friends. You are drawn to the park like a magnet and who knows you may be the next Sarah Burke!
CF - You're a Sweetheart or Girl Wonder!
Everybody knows it so why not be on it. The Sweetheart is the perfect ski for the Roxy girl to learn on. It's light,
easy to turn and it just looks so good. It will take you everywhere and everybody will ask about your skis because they
are so cool. Like you.

*** GENERALLY SKI BOOTS ARE SIZED ACCORDING TO THE LENGTH OF YOUR FOOT IN CENTIMETERS. PUT YOUR HEEL AGAINST THE WALL AND MEASURE THE LENGTH OF YOUR FOOT FROM THE WALL TO THE END OF YOUR TOES IN CENTIMETERS, FOR INSTANCE A WOMAN'S 6 IS ABOUT 23 CENTIMETERS LONG. IF YOU HAVE A HIGH VOLUME FOOT (HIGH INSTEP, WIDE FOREFOOT) GO WITH THE 23.5. IF YOU HAVE A LOW VOLUME FOOT, GO WITH THE FULL SIZE, A 23. SKI BOOTS SHOULD FIT VERY SNUG, AND STILL BE COMFORTABLE. MANY RECREATIONAL SKIERS LIKE A FIT THAT IS A BIT LOOSER, ESPECIALLY IN INITIAL FIT AND CHOOSE TO LEAN UPWARD IN SIZE WHEN IT'S BORDERLINE. KEEP IN MIND THAT AFTER SKIING, BOOTS TEND TO BE A BIT LARGER SO BE CAREFUL NOT TO SIZE TOO BIG ON INITIAL FIT.
